The Sky House at 11 East 29th Street has proven to be a highly marketable residential tower. Gracefully responding to the surrounding neighborhood, the building includes 2000 square meters of space in the base for a new Parish House for the adjacent church, differentiated from the rest if the 49 stories of residential units above with a scaled, less opaque facade at the street level. The tower incorporates 139 residential units of varying sizes.

In order to balance the scale of the through-block building, the tower is fragmented into three blocks each differentiated in its façade rhythm by a specific type of opening. The block facing 29th street presents a vertical window, the 30th street façade a horizontal opening, while the intermediate block a punched opening.
